Our Garden this evening

We live in rural Suffolk 9 miles West of Ipswich and back onto a field. We get up to 4 badgers in most evenings, the deer less frequently. Our back garden is left with lots of cover to encourage in the wildlife. Regular visitors are pheasants, partridges, jays, yellowhammers, every type of tit, woodpeckers, etc, etc. Skylarks in the field sing their hearts out. We also get the occasional squirrel and hare.

A lovely place to live and we have been so blessed during the 'lockdown'.

I was only thinking yesterday that we never hear skylarks now. :(

As a little girl I used to lie in the long grass of the field opposite my home and listen to the skylarks hovering above.... Magical memories.

Thank you for sharing your garden.
