Operation BROCK M20 Jnc 7 to 9

Operation Brock on the M20 both London and coast bound is in operation. See below from Kent online:

"A new system of queuing lorries on the M20 is being tested out from today in preparation for potential delays at the Port of Dover caused by Brexit.

HGVs are being put on the coastbound stretch between junctions 8 for Maidstone and 9 for Ashford, with all other traffic using the London-bound carriagway.

There are two lanes in each direction and a 50 mile per hour speed limit."

At the present rate of progress we won’t be leaving for a few years yet.

Sadly it's in operation now, for how long we don't know! So if anyone's off to ET or Dover using the M20 pick your time of day to travel carefully and allow plenty of time.

Anyway, maybe better to use the M2/A2 , especially for Dover.
