Came off ferry today , looks good op brock at least 15 mls put aside to stack trucks up going to Dover after brexit . Should work well bring it on .

Noticed that in July on M20, guessed that was Brexit truck parking.
Not really a satisfactory state of affairs though is it ?

Family just off tunnel and on M20 they can’t understand why one lane closed off already and B***** not until 31st. Oct.

This has been in place on the M20 since March this year so I guess you haven't used it. It's a B....... nightnare for those of us who live in Kent and that's without it actually being used for it's purpose. :censored:

It was put in place for the 31 March, the first Brexit date and left there! Coast bound was put back to three lanes, though I'm sure that will change back to two lanes as we approach 31 Oct.

Whole thing is a complete shambles!

They can make all the arrangements they like outside Dover and Calais but a few old French trawlers scuttled in Calais harbour entrance will certainly cause a tailback.....;)

Try it during rush hours or when something breaks down! And since when has it been "ok" to travel at 50mph on a motorway?

Still can't see how having plans for an event likely to cause a 15 mile tailback is really good!!!!!

Plenty of motorways have 50 mph during roadworks and certain situations , which op brock is .

Then after blocking the M20 it is the old Manston airport for stacking,so xxxxing up the rest of the south east corner and when that's full we move on to the M26 link which has been "gated" to make it a lorry park.

Exactly and this is progress! (n) From Kent online:

"The government has admitted it could use a stretch of the M26 motorway to hold lorries if there is disruption at the Port of Dover or Eurotunnel - extending the scale of Operation Stack beyond the M20."
