Are people that thick that they went out clubbing and pubbing last night, risking their own health and others maybe you or us .
Just spoke to our friend who lives in Spain ,she's just lost her husband to cancer, she like the rest of Spain is in Lockdown Shopping for food is a nightmare although plenty of food where she is, this is where we will be if people keep act ignorantly. What say you ?

I have for years gone out on a Friday night to the pub with the lads, but stopped going over three weeks ago when all this Coronavirus started. Hopefully there will be many more Friday nights when this is all over!

I’ve not had a drink for nearly a month as I’m a social drinker and very rarely drink at home. But like you say,I value my health!?

As we speak (Write) here in Walton Stafford ...a group of 6 cars with at least 3/4 to each car are obviously all together , riding around as if its not a problem? They have stopped at the bottom of the village and spent 10 mins at least laughing and shouting at each other out of their cars with out a care in the world? Was is it with the young folks? This is not a problem that will go away easily!
Really wish they could just see sense sometimes!

After I had collected my bread and milk, and returned to the a car park yesterday. ( I kept steeping back each time she stepped forward to keep at lest 10' away) I was told by a mother that after she had refused her teenage son permission to go on a sleepover. he then requested that his friend stay with them instead. She refused the request as the Grandmother is 74, as the parents who originally invited the teenage boy to stay were both paramedics and she was afraid they may pass it on to her family.
I think the look on my face may have gave away what I was thinking.......
I am still living in hope that she was exaggerating to show that she was acting responsibly and did not realise what she was saying

My drinking hole has been closed all week, to reopen tonight, for other reasons.
I was going tonight rather than my usual Friday night but Boris put a dampener on that. :swear2:

I think people are oblivious to this pandemic.

Everyone in every pub across the country could be as strong as an Ox and catching the virus will maybe give them a bad case of the flu.

This isn’t what it’s about!!
It’s about then going home, popping around to see your Mum & Dad a week later or so and then passing it on to the not so strong, the vulnerable ones among us who can’t fight it.

Not just the pub, a small group of friends getting together, it’s no different.

I think people need to realise that the longer we still socialise the longer this will go on!!!

That’s what it’s all about!!!!

You found somewhere with bread and milk. :Eeek:
Local bakery and shop lots of milk, 1 loaf each, but as many cakes as you like, no sausages??

I am assured this is true, but honestly it's beyond me, some drinkers around here have hired a minibus to go to a pub in Buxton, where they reckon a pub owner is staying open to sell his stock of beer. :Eeek: :doh:

We went out of town to a village store just to get milk.
Only bread was from Morrison......unsliced white baked instore but as many rolls as we wanted.... I bought six rolls and one loaf. .

One of my locals posted a picture of the final group of people in the pub last night, all huddled together smiling away!

This was after ‘cheesy Tuesday’ was promoted on Facebook and went ahead as normal, basically customers all take cheese in and it goes on the bar for all to share!!!!

Then the pub poker went ahead on Thursday even after I and the other person that run it both said it should be called off, the landlord said he wanted it to continue as he needs the business, needless to say neither of us turned up to run it but 7 people were not put off (normally 20-25 people)
