Hi Top

Does anyone know the procedure to remove the fan motor for replacement. I can see that there are 2 screws securing the inner blind surround and I presume there will be something else to take into consideration. I don't want to exert to much force pulling it down as there seems like there's some resistance like hidden catches. Any help would be appreciated.

The motor is secured by two screws from the outside.
Open the vent fully and get on the roof.

Not sure how the fan is fixed to the motor....could be a press fit or maybe a grub screw.
new motor is around £90.

are you sure it isnt the 3 speed control board thats failed.
i would expect that before a fan failure.

Look carefully and the screws can be seen left and right of motor.
