All the gear, and no idea!
Well it‘s been the topic of discussion since our trip to Austria last June, My Moho hasn’t got a garage so we set about looking at Moho’s with garages, so to cut a long story short we’ve bought a new to us Adria Sonic i700 plus A class!
To say we’re excited is an understatement, we’ve bought it from Simon Simon Howards Motorhomes. It’s a long way from us but I’ve read enough to put my faith in them for the purchase, plus on the up side we can call in eddievanbitz for a couple of nights. I’ve spoken to a couple of Adria owners, one being Kev and Carolyn who gave us great feedback on their Sonic. We’re hoping it’s going to be our last van (?yeah right!) and we hope it will be as good to us as our present van. It is LHD, over a ton of payload (I’ve listened to you Lenny HB) and has the 3.0lt and auto box (god I hope that’s a good engine and gearbox) so here’s hoping for lots of happy years in it! Can’t wait to pick it up later this month???
Any feedback on that engine/gearbox combo will be welcome, as will anything else Adria ?

Congratulations, you are going to love that garage. Ours is massive and rammed!

Just looked at yours on Simons web site Ady...Really nice truck you have. Look after it and enjoy it . You wont look back !

Kev

PS....Your wine cupboard above ....Is better than ours! Lol

Congratulations, you certainly won't regret going for LHD with large garage. Enjoy!

Nice one Ady (y)

Great looking motorhome .. I hope the table fits!:xrofl:

Ah yes the table?? Do you know, Simons been dead right with us and I’m not going to give him a motorhome with holes in it, so the tables staying in the bus for someone else to enjoy?

I've just been nosey and had a sneaky look on SHM website. Looks very nice with the bonus of low mileage, put a private plate on it and it would pass for new. We have an Adria Matrix 670 SL just over a year old and less than 4k mileage when we brought it. Really pleased with it, especially the large garage. Beware there is a weight limit for the garage of 150kgs on the Matrix, probably higher on a Sonic, but just be mindful.

Thanks for the heads up but I was told it’s 150kg for the Sonic too?

Before our current van we had an Adria Matrix and loved it, wouldn't have changed if it wasn't for Lorraine wanting smaller van to visit Sophie at uni.

Hope you have many happy trips in it.

Nice one exiting times

Yes you are quite correct there with the garage payload ...But look at where he can put the other 900Kgs. The pay load is rather large at 1065kgs as on ours (Same truck) . Its a large wine cellar at the back...Thats for sure :xThumb:

WESTY66 Once again thank you!
So yesterday we got her off the forecourt without any issues! Its now taken off Autotrader and the workshop lines have been pushed. (This is mainly a check as the Multi Point Check ((MPC) and the Habitation check were done last month) As part of our delivery check we put a new mains hook up lead in (25 metre ((We used to do 10 metre cables but an old lady moaned at me that I didn't give her a 25 metres (((It turned out she couldn't lift the 25 metre anyway ((((Some people you just cannot win with)))) We will put the new bottle of gas in (I can't do a proper handover unless I can show you everything working ((To which we will have water, gas and electric going into the van to show you things like your hob/ oven and grill working as well as hot water etc)) We also provide a fire extinguisher although I won't fit that, you can (Wherever I fit it will be wrong!) We don't need to provide a fire extinguisher but when I went to insure my first motorhome my insurance company insisted on one so I thought I would chuck one in with every purchase for the sake of £20. We also put some toilet chem in (Pink and Blue) We also provide some bog roll (I have had 2 customers ring me from Cornish Farm to tell me they have forgotten toilet roll. I asked one if he could make it to the toilet block and how far was he in the process ((I wish I hadn't asked!)) I tried to politely explain that it was a Saturday night and whilst I was normally on standby I was about 5 Stella's in and couldn't really bring any bog roll over!
I have spoken to Vanbitz this morning who are confirming a diary slot for your Growler.
So, so far so good with this van!
This could be quite a cool thread, we could do the whole buying process from a dealers perspective! We could do it warts and all for instance when its the morning of the handover and the camera suddenly stops working and we have to scramble/ panic/ replace lol

I can try and find an N for you if you want? It may be off a Sun Living (Its hard to think of any brands that have an N in them!)

Cheers Simon but I’ll leave it as it is, I don’t want to devalue it?

I would have bought it but didn't fancy left hand drive, looks like new.
Looking for a Adria Matrix 670 sl for under £47k , struggling to find one.
There is one on Ebay for £42,500 but did a credit check and the guy still owes £37,000 on it but forgot to tell me.
congratulations on your excellent purchase, very jealous.

KusKus, send me a pm with exact requirements and I will source one for you.
I sold a 670SL literally 2 months ago!

Lovely looking van!
We have the 3.0l auto on our Dethleffs and love it. Lots of power when we need it and nice and easy to drive.
Enjoy your new home.
