So who forgot VALENTINES day then:eek:

Never forgot it in 48 years of marriage. Just never done anything about it, if i was to give wife anything to celebrate it she would ask why i was wasting the money that bunch of flowers is another night on a campsite.

Sounds like my wife, we never remember our anniversary either, first thing we know about it is when the kids say happy anniversary.

I don't even get that Lenny my stepson was 4 when i met the wife he is 54 this year and has never remembered it and it is 3 days before Christmas, he remembers the month of his mums birthday but often gets the date wrong

its the one week of the year i would never buy flowers, also known as florists pension week

I didn't forget, just warned her that as I cannot get out to the shops not to expect anything from me and don't get anything for me either - but I still love her!

So of course at breakfast a card on the table................! Wimmin!

Well John got up early and made me one, he got the same one as the last 2 years

I have a very dear friend who has been sending me flowers randomly for years (40 + now) they turn up for no reason and they are never expected
I really appreciate them because it means he is genuinely thinking of me and not sending flowers because , clinton cards, moonpig or similar tell him to.

On the brigherside my brother sent a card to my Grandmother for years, she never knew who it came from, but having lived longer as a widow than a wife she would get so excited and it was always entertaining to see her face so happy and thoughtful about who would be sending her a valentine card, ❤️

I saw a card advert pop up on Facebook, made me laugh so I screenshotted it, cropped it down and sent it to the printer with a sheet of thick photo paper in it, folded it, wrote on it, made an envelope and left it on the hall floor under the letterbox 😂

For the 31st time whilst married, and 36th time of being together, I have failed completely in doing anything remotely romantic.
I can also add her Birthday, our Anniversary and Christmas to times when I have failed.

Mrs Suave is similarly unenamoured though I must admit we did have a burger a couple of years ago on either her birthday or our anniversary in a back street kebab shop in Frejus as it was pouring with rain. We have been known to buy a toblerone at christmas if we remember.

I shall go and get my tin hat

Great excuse you scruffy lot are forgetting.

You are Isolating!

She gets fresh flowers every week, breakfast in bed every morning, all the ironing, cleaning and shopping done, why is today any different? :giggle:

We decided a long time ago that commercialisation has ruined the day and also we don’t need a day show how we care for each other. In fact we have a date day each week.

There's no way I would forget.

We live in a van. It's a small space 🥺

Better sneak off and make her one then! :giggle:

For us we don't bother with birthdays, Christmas, anniversary or any of the stupid days invented to encourage people to buy cards etc, we do obviously do them for others though, my Mum has got an early one for her birthday/mother's day as I've just signed her up for a sim contract which I'm paying for ... much better than getting her stuff that she doesn't want ... or nothing like one of my brothers!

Not I, I presented my other half with the best valentine's present ever......

A Motorhomefun yearbook 👍

Aren't you supposed to give one to each Valentine?
Or is one 11 times better than the other?
