Offset bike rack - Cover options?

I've had a Tailormade bike cover before. It was lovely. However, they do not make covers for offset bike racks, such as those fitted to one of the two rear doors on a Ducato PVC.
Does any have a good quality bike cover recommendation for offset bike racks?

Surely a bike cover covers the bike, so what's stopping a normal type bike cover from working on an offset bike rack ?

That's what I would've thought. Perhaps because the support to the bike crossbar (which is at the top of the rack) is offset, and therefore a central split in the cover will be in the wrong place. Tailormade say they don't make covers for offset racks, so they must not fit.

Maybe a modify to suit job with a pair of scissors and some velco.
