I'm a newbie
Hi/ we are of to Benidorm in December can you please tell me which is the best route from Santander to Zaragoza , N623. & N232 then E804 . Or E70 & E804.

Why go via Zaragoza when you can go straight down and skirt Madrid and then onto the Alacante AP7 then off at junction 65 straight into the site areas. It's a far better route and much quicker.

If you go via Zaragoza then check your weight as the police were manning a weighbridge somewhere around there last week. A friend we were travelling with was pulled over and weighed complete with tow car on A frame. They had a good look at the A Frame but said nothing about it.

Thanks rolandrat do you know of a night holt about 200 miles from Santander

When going to Benidorm via Zaragossa we stop overnight at the Service area at Sobradiel, about 240 miles journey.
If going via Madrid, we stop at Camping Internacional, an ACSI site, at Aranjuez, about 340 miles.

There are numerous, what I suggest is you get the Michelin Tourist & Motorist Atlas of Spain and Portugal from WH Smiths, you will see many camping site logo's very near to the main trunk roads. Some people like the Bilbao Zaragoza route but the Madrid route is more direct and a very easy drive. You know your going in the right direction when you see Madrid airport to your right from the motorway. Another good book to have with you for sites is the Caravan Club Europe one, it lists numerous sites in Spain.
Good Luck.

Just looking at gus-lopez post, what I failed to mention was that we go via Burgos, as I've said it really is personal choice.

Thanks for all you replys
