You could check MOT history on gov site,
https://www.gov.uk/check-mot-status
Then you would know if it’s been clocked.
Unfortunately not , what if the bas*ard clocked it every year just before mot. I drive a taxi and was taking a passenger to a car market when he suggested this for the taxi. I'm of the opinion clocking is fraud and should be dealt with by a custodial sentence. There that's my big phrase for today:D.
You can only hope a "clocker" gets a real lemon of a vehicle shoved where the sun don't shine.

Mileage look ok to me!

Totally agree , but the reprobate I had in the taxi suggest clocking every year just before mot . If you , for talking sake , do 30000 miles every year but clock by 15000 every year , your mileage looks to be a steady 15000 per year. There's an industrial estate in Glasgow has a sign on a main road for digital correction. Unfortunately |I don't think there's any foolproof way of determining mileage , we just get a gut feeling , and the DVLA site cuddles that feeling . Let's hope neither of us have or will buy a "rogue " vehicle.
Awra best ,
John
