This morning we left Arlon in south Belgium and, needing diesel, we stopped at the first place we came across - I’m assuming we were in Luxembourg by then. There were about 100 cars queuing at the many pumps.

We paid 1.085 euros for diesel - less than £1 per litre!

It pays to wait till you get to Luxembourg to fill up if you can.

No it ain’t, in June just over the border from Belgium it was €1.06 I missed that one and carried on thru Luxembourg and filled up at motorway services near Schengen and paid €1.12 (I was very Low and desperate) I was gutted???

Its nice to do it on way back and still have 850 miles of cheap motoring left when you get home

We used to run airfreight to Lux a few years ago and we'd be on fumes by the time we got there as the saving back in the late 80''s early 90's on 1500 lts of fuel was huge! Glad to hear it's still goin on. Just shows how we are all being taken for a ride though.
