Northern Italy, near Milan camping

Hi all,

I am struggling to find somewhere safe, good value for money and near Milan. I have stayed in the central Milan campsite before but didn't really think too much of it. Has anyone got any suggestions for nearby? Agricampsites or secure places outside of Milan??

Any help would be appreciated.

How close to Milan do you need to be? We stayed at Certosa di Pavia earlier this year - right by an impressive monastery. Security barrier and 16A hook-up, price has gone up a bit to 15€ per night. Fine for a couple of nights but not much to do other than visit the monastery.

That sounds good. I need to be near Mesero for work. I am looking for something similar perhaps further north towards Mesero. Did you use a camper app to find this place Maz?

Hello All,
I am also looking to stay in a camper, possible a campsite for a month in October that has easy public transport access to the city. Viewed the site above, but if anyone has additional information I would be interested in hearing it, otherwise need to stay in an Air B&B.
