we have an offer for our MH from NI.
I seem to remember reading of potential scams but can’t find anything on the search.
any thoughts/comments?

It’s possible to be scammed anywhere in the UK, NI is not unique.
Any more info? Private or dealer?

yes, understood, however felt there was something specific to NI.
I may well be wrong but thought I had read on here.

Just take usual precautions, ensure money is received and in your account before releasing the vehicle.
Some advise to then move cash immediately to another account, but I'm not sure that's really necessary

If they request to view it, then not at your home address, but somewhere public. If they want to drive it, then stay with them and they’ll need proof of insurance for the vehicle, or better still, you drive them. Take a mate with you too in a separate vehicle, who can follow you on a test drive. If you make the sale and monies are transferred, then apart from the added security, you’ll need a lift home

Have they offered without a viewing? If so I'd be wary. As above, get the money into your account.
