It shows as being received. Hotmail is famous for trashing mail from us, it must be in your spam or junk. Let me know with a personal message if you can’t find it.

Anyone know how long they keep the doors open Thursday night? THinking of joining you all after work but that obviously only works IF the gates are still open at 6-7pm depending on A140 conditions at rush hour.

All Warners Motorhome Shows are open for camping arrivals Thursday & Friday 8:00am to 9:00pm (except the late September Malvern Caravan Show).

Fun Marshalls will however appreciate a heads up if you are going to be arriving lateish so they will know to still have a welcoming committee available ;)

Thanks Kannon Fodda can get on with booking it now then, A140 you genuninely have no idea if its a hour (best case) or 2-3 at rush hour, so it was worth asking .... we'll leave at 5pm from about a third up the A140 near the A1120 junction I expect -> I'll flag on here once we've booked and linked the booking. I have other questions in another thread in chat, I want to build a flag pole with lights on it is this objected to in the Fun area ? (I know it won't be needed due to location, but it will be part of the weekend to build/commision the thing).

Responded to your flag pole question in that thread ;)

Late evening arrivals at Warners shows are par for the course. There is always one trying to get there after work and got held up somewhere. But Warners are strict on closing the gate at 9:00pm, and there is no holding area for overnight if you miss so you'd just be turned away. I know Lincoln one year I marshalled I was in touch with one funster who was texting updates and literally made it at 8:59pm :whatthe:

Booked arriving Thursday late after work, probably near the doors closing, sorry Marshalls, blame A140 at rush-ish-hour. We will leave as soon as we can after work.

The A140 is usually OK northbound in the evenings. Bit of a queue sometimes through the roundabouts near Diss, and again through Long Stratton but other than that it keeps moving all the way to the A47. The improvement to the Scole junction just before you leave Suffolk to cross the border into Norfolk, has helped a lot even on a Friday night. The A47 can be busy from the A140 junction to the showground between 5pm and 7pm but again usually keeps moving albeit more slowly. However, remember the vast majority of the A140 from the A14 to the A47 is restricted to 50mph including some of the dual carriageway sections. Don't be tempted to speed.

Yeah it's the scole roundabout that last time we went that route in motorhome on a Friday we got "stuck in queue for ". Nearly didn't make campsite by it's closure at 8pm sharp.

Reccomend anyone planning to go Fri night to try to get past the Diss/Scole A143/A140 intersection from either direction if going that route by ~6:30pm based on past experience.

Unfortunately if travelling Friday evening strongly suggest avoiding the A11 northbound if you can.
Indeed, stay on A14 to Bury, and go up A143 to the interchange above would be my suggestion. (and meanders it seems).
A11 is horrible then. And it won't always show on satnav either -> it's one of those roads. The A14/A143 route may look longer (and it is in miles) but it'll run well up to the Scole interchange where you will join the queues on the A140.

They do -> This was a nearby campsite -> first time for us at Norfolk show, but the campsite was in the rough area off the A47 that the show is at. We travel to North Norfolk both late Thursdays (if wife off Fri) or Friday (if she's not) after work most weekend in summer in the motorhome. So we're quite familar with the Friday queues as if going that way you have to go around the Norwich ringroad in most cases..

It's quicker for us to drive cross country to Yarmouth/Kessingland via the A1120 to the A12 then back onto the A47 for parts of North Norfolk despite being considerably further in fact most Fridays! Mad but true, but at least then we make campsite curfews. (I'd note that is NOT case at present due to a massive diversion in place on the A1120 for next few weeks).

Ah, my bad. They are strict with the cut off times though, the last time I was there, there was a family from Kent who turned up at 9.03pm because of a major fire on the motorway, and the stewards was at the gate and wouldn’t let them in🤷🏼‍♂️
