Hi all, especially the 'old' members.

These locks used to be sold at most of the rallies. It was brilliant for my trike as if a worm moved under the ground the motion set the alarm off.

However, not used it for years and I cannot remember HOW to set it but, more importantly, how to turn it off. I remember they hurt my ear drums when they went off so don't want to fiddle until you tell me how to switch it off. Thank you.

PS I do have the key. :)

They all seem to be the same- when you lock it its armed. Is the battery still OK?

Turn the lock around and put the shackle pins in the other way. One way alarms it the other way just locks without alarm. Hope that makes sense.

So to turn the alarm 'off' i just remove the horseshoe bit at the top? Then put it back in the other way round and it won't go off?

I guess I'll soon know about the battery once I open it.... :). I put my ear plugs in first.

As already said it’s worked by the shackle. If you look at it when it’s out you will see the difference. :gum:
