Hi All, with new regulations not allowing us to take animal products, milk (not even dried) or dairy products into EU, presumably we can take tinned goods, ie evaporated milk, corned beef, etc? How do other members manage now, please?

Don’t know but most countries sell evap milk and corned beef at least here in France and am sure others do too

Sadly no. The other threads have lots of people complaining about the illogicality of it, for example why can't a product produced in the EU be re-imported but they are missing the point. Partly it is about maintaining standards and without paperwork to prove the origin the product might have been adulterated but there is also a big element of protectionism. Once a product has been exported from the EU they don't want it back - they want you to buy another when you visit. :)

It might be harsh, even unfair but it is their rules and they have control over them. :) Brexit brings no benefits to us visiting in MHs, only additional costs, restrictions and inconveniences and I don't make that as a political statement - we have left and we will just have to get used to the new terms of our relationship. I'm not losing sleep over it and towards the end of the year I hope to return.
