Hope someone can throw some light (pun intended) on my problem. New van -Hymer B580 MC-I, everything working fine but during storm this afternoon (no lightning near by) lost all the hab 12v. No response from control panel, checked the fuses I could see, meter on batteries showed fully charged. Incoming mains hook up ok, site warden checked their trips etc they were all ok.
Cannot find a main battery isolator or such device to reset. So as vehicle side ok have returned home cutting short a trip away.
Where should I look?
Thanks Eric

Youve confirmed your batteries are good.. if thats the case it sounds like a fuse has gone..
Start by looking for one close to the positive terminal on the leisure battery..

Does your Hymer have an Elektroblock? That's a box with plugs and fuses on the front, that controls all the habitation 12V. There are a couple of big latching relays inside, that switch all the 12V on and off. It's possible that a voltage pulse from the storm could flip a relay off. You could try switching the main battery switch on the EBL off and on again to reset them.

Thanks autorouter. Been in touch with dealer today and they have had me do just that without success. Looks like the electroblock needs to be replaced sotheyare now getting in touch with Hymer. Looks like I wont be going far any time soon.

Which EBL model is it? You can use a meter to check if the supply is reaching the various parts of the EBL.

Also check the two fuses by the leisure battery positive a 50 amp one feed the power to the EBL and a 2 amp that feeds the electronics on the EBL.
