Not long enough!
I've prebooked a campsite in Spain for 2 months over Christmas and New year, but they said they don't give Acsi rate on prebooking, only of you just turn up.
Anyone else experienced this?

I’ve had sites ask for a deposit based on full rate, but recalculated balance when ACSI card shown when on site, and kiko park charged us full rate but allowed dog free and 4 kw electric per day as per Acsi, but we were on a full sized pitch, ther were some really small ones which I presume are the true ACSI ones.

Probably as the 30day rate isower than the ACSI price, it normally is.
They probably won't object if you offer them the higher rate.

As Lenny said Sue, we found the over 30 day rate much cheaper than the ACSI rate

No but I was once charged €48 for booking a pitch. If I’d just turned up id have been €48 better off.

Strange old world!

Twice now we’ve been offered poor pitches that we were told were for ACSI. As has been said long term prices are quite a bit lower.

Never been offered poor pitches, but be aware some sites are now charging full rate over Christmas and New year. however even with that for 2 months the sites own prices will most likely be cheaper than the ACSI rate. We have pre booked a few times and always been charged the lower rate whether ACSI or sites own.

What with the price rises of ACSI sites, the only reason we still have the book is for finding the occasional site in far away places.. But there are so many good or very cheap apps that do the job now, I think this will be the last year with an ACSI book on board

That's normal , AFAIK t's in the book that you can not pre book but can't quote chapter and verse as the books are in Maxine and I'm now nice and warm inside after my 6 hours on the Canal with the Santa Specials

Ahh, yes they won’t let you pre-book, but they’re fine with you just booking. ?

Some sites accept pre-booking and are indicated in the ACSI app and website. I'm not sure if they are indicated in the books, I've never noticed. I pre-booked a site in Holland earlier this year direct through the ACSI website. Going via the site's own website, the pitch cost was over twice as much per night, EHU extra as well. Got a confirmation email from the campsite within an hour of booking through ACSI.

Does say in the book if booking is allowed.
