Ayr Site, in St Ives is a lovely site. Not cheap and if you don’t like Hills forget it.
Fantastic views over the beaches from the pitch.
Walkable downhill into town just 10 minutes but a bit of a hike back up the hill.
A bus does run rarely and finishes early.
Spotless showers, Loos and facilities.
They are building a pool but luckily not too much noise.

They didn’t like the very honest TripAdvisor review that I wrote.

It was a while ago so it might be forgotten now.

I did think about trying to book it for tomorrow.

oh, I was looking forward to reading about some drunken escapades you got up to in the distant past :giggle:

Ooooh can you paste the review 🙄😇

I stayed there one October about 10 years ago. nice site but a bit of a weirdo owner if I recall correctly.

Oh yes 😎 He doesn’t care about upsetting customers because he is mostly fully booked.

Ehhhhhhh! Are sure it was the owner who was the weirdo?

Got a link to the review

I've stayed there 3 times (twice just for 2 nights touring and once for xmas/new year)
I'm sure I've read Janine's review posted on here a few years back and it was accurate
They had a pool before...are they replacing it or building a different one
Cant believe it's still £33 a night, I thought it would be £40 in winter and £50+ in summer by now
Lovely short walk into town 👍
