Searching for a specific layout I have come across a couple of options.

I need 2x single beds and a drop down double, with a garage. I came to the conclusion that either an Adria Matrix 670SL or Burstner Ixeo 726G fits the bill.

How do the 2 Motorhome’s compare ? I have found a 2015 Adria Matrix 670SL with 12k miles for 49k and a 2017 Burstner 726G for around £52k and wondering where the money would be best placed?

Both need AC fitting so I have to add for that.

Any thoughts and wisdom for what is a big purchase greatly received!

Just to add the Burstner also has 12k miles and both have 2 owners from new, fully serviced and immaculate condition.

enough to know i shouldnt touch things i know nothing about ....
We have an Adria 670SLT - with the layout you describe, albeit without a large garage. its a really solid build and has leant itself to some simple but useful upgrades/modifications. we have had three motorhomes before this, a Bailey, Swift and a Trigano. The Adria is far and away a superior build to the others.
If there is little between them, check on the heating systems? Ours is a Truma blown air, but the Alde system is far superior. Are there other differences between them?

Had an Adria caravan and a Burstner motorhome, both were good quality, so a toss of a coin would suffice in my book !
What engines are in them ?

I have a Matrix.
It's been wonderful. When my husband was alive we full-timed for 10 months through 2 Beast from the East & recently I've full-timed since last October - through practically non-stop rain & countless windstorms.
Always warm, cosy & welcoming

I’m newbie
Are they both winterised ?
Bit Low mileage for both especially the adria .
I have 2019 burstner but different layout which suit us, never had motorhome before,
But I’ve looked at a few adria and I do like them.
Good luck 👍

Yeah both nice. To be fair the Adria is like new, impeccably tidy. Owner bought from a dealer last April and has only used it twice for local weekends.
I think I’m steering toward the Adria even though it’s a couple of years older

One built by Thor/Hymer the other built by Trigano. All of their individual brands within their groups share parts & build tech. That's the real nuts & bolts of it.

Many can believe in the badge & brand as much as they like but in the mainstream that all changed years ago. You don't really beleive that there's a £20k difference in quality between an A Class Mobilvetta & an A Class Roller Team do you? Even the the Auto Trail A Class GF's have cross brand parts including those from Adria's Supersonic & Mobilvetta's K Yacht, that goes the other way too.

Adria's Comprex construction used in the bodywork is one of the few which still uses wood. The same fabrication method is also used in two other of the Trigano group brands... Benimar & Chausson/ Challenger.

Personally just pick the one you prefer. Me, as a previous brand integration S/V for Trigano I'd go for the Adria.

19 month year 18000 miles UK, Ireland, France, Spain, Germany, Italy. Campsites and off Grid.
2017 might be just before Burstners build quality took a dive.

Adria Matrix 670DC
Exp
Motorhoming since 2018.
Our previous (and first) MH was a 2016 Adria Matrix 670SL (Silver Anniversary model) . It was well built never had any problems in the 2000 miles and 3 years we had it. We now have another Matrix, this time its the 670DC Supreme. Never had any dealings with the Burstner brand so unable to compare with Adria.

Go with your gut feeling.

PS. what I would say is the Adria's have a disappointing 150kgs max in the garage.

One thing I have noticed, is this seal around the roof. Wasn’t sure what the thoughts were. Han check/service done at dealers last April and was all ok. Don’t think it’s a big job to put sealer on if the sealer needs doing?
