New Year Shindig Ideas

We always seem to find ourselves at a bit of a loose end for New Year and our preference is to get away in the van for a couple of nights and spend the celebrations in the company of friends we have not met yet. Given that we are starting from our house near Torquay in Sunny Deb'n, and would like to keep the distance not much fiurther than 100 miles, do you funsters have any suggestions for parties where we could strut our stuff...........?

We are in west wales but have van will travel

Service area somewhere in Spain same as last year. We were the only ones there aprt from 5 truck over the other side and 5 feral kittens that were all over us. This one nearly came home with us apart from the passport problem.
