Hi all,
We are looking for a new Moho but can't seem to find what we want so can anyone help us to decide if such a thing exists.

We currently have an Auto Trail Dakota with a French bed which we want to change to an Island bed for bad back reasons.
If we are changing we would like a continental build with the Hab door on the Right Hand Side rather than the British built with doors on the left.
We are full timing so plenty of storage is a must as is plenty of payload so anything with less than 700Kg payload can be discounted.
Our research has shown us that having a drop down second bed takes up too much space where we currently have storage but a seating area that converts would be a nice have.
Any of the other things can be sorted out if we get the right layout.

Any ideas please?

Iain

Why not get yourself over to Caravan Salon at Dusseldorf next week, loads of Funsters going.
I query your payload, 70O kg is just about enough for normal use full timing I would think you need a min of 1000kg preferably 1500 our van has 1350kg.

Most A Class vans can be ordered with cupboards instead of the drop down bed.

We probably store more stuff on our drop down bed than you could get in cupboards. As we dont use it as a bed we have removed the heavy mattress and store spare bedding towels etc up there. Also used for storing carrier bags full of presents for those who have been stuck at home.

Have a look at the Burstner Ixeo IT range. With the chassis upgrade I think you'll get the payload and if you need an additional bed, the drop down bed at the front sits between the lockers so nothing lost. We moved from an AT Scout with so much storage we never used it all to the IT734 and it suits us well. They do both Coachbuilt and A Class from memory.
