An overnight parking site with services for campervans and motorhomes is to be established at a Sutherland beauty spot.

A great spot to stopover,.. We stayed there a few years back after the earlier visitor center burnt down.
We loved watching the salmon leaping the falls.

At that time the place was owned by Mohamed Al-Fayed of Harrods fame.

Update for anyone wanting a superb wild (but hook up available) location to stay but be warned the roads are narrow!!
Great walks, picnic benches, E-bike and car charging. Play area for children.

We stopped there in October and the prices are exactly as posted,but we didn't bother with EHU

The positive is the pitch parking is free along with the toilets and the fresh water.
you only pay for what you use so no hook up no charge.

Interesting pricing structure as if it is not used it will be hard to recoup the cost of installing it in the first place and the daily charge they play the Electricity company (or is this domestic only).

Ok that’s what I wondered, so e bikers who need a pitch at no cost but get stung for charging batteries.
