Heres a few pics of our new rear ‘porch’ awning for our PVC.
So, we have an Outdoor Revolution driveaway awning, but we never use the ‘driveaway’ function we just use it as a store/dog shelter, so we cut the front bit off. Much less hassle folding and bagging.
Was going to bung it but Mrs uzsnowdrop came up with this brilliant idea.
Fitted an awning strip to rear, sewed the edges ( technical term,,, seams?) and it makes a perfect rain or sun shelter.
Well pleased

Looks excellent, is it actually attached to the back or just held with tension?

The original elastic for tent pegs is hooked under door and over door handle , the rear bit at the top is an old bit of ally pole that sits in door mechanism. It is attached to van using a normal awning rail 1m long cut in half and sikaflexed on . Its pretty solid
