Spotted this on a German Facebook page https://www.sportvibrations-dogbox.com/crashtest-bestanden/ - an inflatable dog box that is designed & tested to protect both you & your dog in event of a crash. It's available in lots of sizes & has a back seat version which may suit motorhome passenger seats & it's getting some good feedback online. Thought it may be of interest to some but it is a bit expensive!
