Hello & welcome
There are quite a few of us that are ex caravanners & are solo or travel solo.

I've no idea why but I've found motorhomers seem to be friendlier.

Have a look at the meets & rallies section on here, there are lots of different ones but you will have to join as a full member - £15 for a year but well worth it.

Snap Carol ?

Well I bought the1990 kon-tiki 650 an older van I know all I could afford with not working but no electronics on engine to go wrong which I prefer anyway so just have to get use to driving it bit bigger than a car ? although drove a big sprinter van for a number of years in past so will manage an get use to it and look forward to exploreing the southwest as I moved down to live in devon last year from the northwest hopefully lots to see and do now
