It won't be true Macro, they use that term when describing minimum focus distance and hope nobody notices. If it only fits cropped sensor bodies you won't have the full 16-300 range. Also minimum aperture F22? Wow. If you try and use it in anything other than the brightest sunlight you will need artificial lighting so forget any of the focal length past about 85mm. At around £450 there are a lot of far better options available depending on what fit you need. If it was around half that price it might be worth having in the bag for the once in a blue moon when the 18x zoom may be useful but not at that money.

F22? It opens up to f3.5 at the shortest focal length and 6.3 at the max zoom.
