New Fiat head unit

Does anyone know how to stop the mile ometer from flashing, I have replaced my non Cd unit with a head unit with CD and SAT nav it is a Fiat branded unit but it makes the mile ometer flash as though it is got a CAM bus fault.

Does it need a trip to the auto electrician to get it sorted out

Odometer flashing is as you say a low level canbus fault.

Perhaps as the new unit is a genuine fiat it needs proxi alignment with the body control unit.

PS. There were reports that the fiat built in sat nav could cause a canbus fault.

What about wiring it to the hab battery that what I do.

If it is alignment, It needs plugging into some fiat software.
A local garage may have suitable software. Other than that it's a fiat stealership.

Is it all working even though the odometer is flashing.

yes it all works i think ill just get some tape over the odometer lol

I will admit that I drove around for best part of the year with the odometer flashing.
Got sorted before the next mot.
