Well we have traveled overland to Slovenia and Croatia but next years trip is a bit further !!
We have been invited to our friends sons wedding in Sofia !!!
If anyone has done this trip and has any tips on routes to go and or to avoid any help would be appreciated. !!
Ditto re insurance requirements too !!
As we are both retired no rush,want to avoid tolls/vignettes where possible unless very cheap ( we are Scots after all and need to keep our end up lol !!
Thinking of taking 7-10 days to get there , 4 weeks there (possibly head to Sunny Beach for a couple of weeks) then similar time scale to get back to Calais.
Not interested in any of the North Sea ferries as we will never put our dog into one of the onboard kennels !!
Any help, advice re stops ect will be very much appreciated, btw way leaving Scotland mid May.
