Sitting in the van at New England Bay, just popped down for lunch and a walk. Don't know if it's been posted before but there is now a black waste disposal facility. The toilets are closed as usual for the winter but the facility is outside and in use.

If the weather is the same as Weegieville today it will be a magic walk along the beach!(y)

Is that the carpark right outside the C&MC site? Lovely location!
It's beautiful, but a cool northerly wind , and yes Janine, it is lovely here. Just had a tin of tomato soup.

Sitting in the van at New England Bay,
We're doing the same just across the water at Silloth.

There has been a very hardy bunch of about 30 fishermen/women stood on the Prom in a fishing match in that very cold north wind....

It is a cold wind, only 7° over here.

Is the waste disposal at ground level for black tank emptying? Thanks

It's newly installed since this photo was taken but believe it's next to the toilet block (the white building).

If you need to drive on the grass be aware some puddles do form on the grass between the road and the toilet during heavy rain but as the soil is very sandy it does drain quite quickly. The puddle in the photo is on the tarmac access road.
