Dumfries & Galloway Council have installed an Elsan at the public toilets in the car park at New England Bay on the Mull of Galloway.
Good shout given the number of wild campers that use the parking \ camping area.(y)

Whats the cost, do you know? anything up to £10 is acceptable for me but no more.

Strictly speaking, cassettes only. There are manholes close by but I dont know if they're connected.

edit........... and for irnbru and everyone else, its free. 1 toilet (unisex), 1 water tap, 1 steel lid cassette emptying point.

Whats the cost, do you know? anything up to £10 is acceptable for me but no more.
It is on a free public car park, used regularly for overnighting. S4Sites doesn’t mention a fee for the Elsan. I have emailed the council thanking them. My contact, John King, is away until the end of the month. I will email him then, suggesting an honesty box for a charity, possibly the RNLI.

This is the toilet building and part of the parking area at NEB. There's another area through the gorse to the left (as you look at it) of the building.

The C&MC site is in the background.
