He is a bit hit and miss with connections and installing the necessary apps.doesn’t full me with enthusiasm at all.

They're all the same basic unit and the only thing that goes wrong is the temp sensor. If you unplug them before going through the full cool down procedure the sensor will fail. Very easy to replace if you have good acces or ambidextrous fingers
