In the latest design of this board Thetford have now dispensed with the 25A blade fuse, which melts instead of blowing, and have a 25A fuse soldered onto the board. I presume that their thinking is that the joint between the blade fuse and its holder is going high impedance and creating heat, thus melting the fuse. I have attached a picture of an old failed board and the latest design.

Your old board with the melted 25 amp fuse looks identical to my replacement board complete with 25 amp blade fuse. This was a replacement that I had to purchase because the dealer informed me that the warranty was 3 months out. And he didn't speak to Thetford about the problem or I might have received a freebee. Has the new board got a different part number? My original 20A fuse board was 691101 and the replacement 25A is 692247 and fitted May 23. I did a little modification to my new board by removing the 25A fuse and having it in an external fuse holder and cabled back to the board. If I need to check or change the fuse, no need to remove the board.

They have kept the same part number by the looks of it.
