New Battery venting (1 Viewer)

Hi All
Just a quick one, I'm on fitting a new YUASA L-36 EFB battery. There is a plug on one side of the battery and a vent hole on the other. I'm presuming it is ok to remove the plug and push it in the vent hole and then connect the vent pipe to this side. Is that correct? (Vent pipe won't reach other side)

No problem, that's why there's two holes and one vent plug.
