Well thats the new battery fitted and she started up first time:thumb:

Have left the Neg lead off just in case.

I presume after the engine had stopped.... is this to make sure there is no battery drain? it may be worth buying a switch that stays connected to the battery and you just flip it up and out of the gate.. saves damaging the battery pole longer term.

Absolutely right John....just couldn't find my meter so will leave that until later next week....I really suspect that it was just a battery failure...looked like the original
