New avatar

Some observant Funsters have noticed that my "avatar" keeps changing Yes we have sold our Flair so couldn't really keep that as my "avatar" so until something new turn up I am trying out a few new ones for size, don't read too much into any of them though

So far,

we had this one which I quite liked but NO not getting a boat instead, its the passenger ferry to the camping on the island in Bremen,

then we had this one which I love because it's a Vario-Mobil but with a car in the back and slide out it's too heavy,

then came this one which is a PhoeniX, I like the build and it's on the IVECO so not too heavy for me

next up and current one is a MORELO, very modern compared to the PhoeniX but nice enough all the same,

I might try a Concorde next but spoilt for choice really,

So back to "avatars" I have been trying this for a while it is a Concorde 790H which is a limited edition of 30 vans to celebrate the 30 years of collaboration between IVECO and Concorde, it looks nice but that's where it starts and finishes for us I am afraid, the length was right at about 8 metres but being a limited edition it's "take it or leave it" as far as the spec is concerned so it's front bed and no option for cupboards, two sofas and table with no option for a bar version, and all the cupboards front are the dark wood again with no options so "thanks but no thanks"

So I have gone back to the MORELO palace 85L for a while and who knows I might just leave it like that, I think it would look better with white mirrors but that is a factory option

Mine are painted white RAL 9002 which apart from the look which I prefer are easy to keep clean because it's a shiny polished finish. I apply Colinite 476 wax and yes you can see bugs but that makes it easy to clean them off which with the wax I can do with my truck brush and a bucket of plain water (As per Robert Clark ) Overall I would have them painted again.
