Hello everyone. :)

As our former system went with the sale of our MH, would anyone have a Nature Pure (General Ecology) RS2QC filter head and connecting pipes (see image) lying about in their shed or garage, which they no longer have a need for, but would be willing to sell please?
If so, we'd be interested, and also any spare 420620 filters you might have.

We identified a need to filter our drinking water last winter (especially when in Spain), and compared to some microbial systems we have looked at recently, the RS2QC is quite compact, as we are struggling for space to mount a filter system, and the RS2QC would fit our needs, and in our chosen location. (y)
Also, we'd like to utilise what filters we already have.
We are looking to plumb directly to the kitchen tap, so an additional faucet isn't required.

If anyone can help, we'd be pleased to hear from you either on here, or via the PM/Conversation facility.

Thanks for taking the time to read our classified ad.

Jock & Rita. :)

If you plumb it into your existing kitchen tap doesn't that mean that ALL cold water will be filtered, even your washing-up water?

I saw some great reviews on the below product.

Yes Mel, but we don't want an extra faucet on the worktop. ;)

Thanks, I have to go out, but will have a look later. :)

Cheers. :)

Another link. If you have refills from old model you can always sell them

Hi Jock & Rita,

Yes I do but I also have the faucet and was going to be listing it complete, including a brand new filter.

I wouldn't want to split and note that the complete setup now retails for £299. I'm not greedy and always willing to help a fellow funster where I can, so would consider selling the whole setup for £150 inc P&P.

Please let me know if of interest.

Many thanks,

Christian

Thanks Carol. :)

We'll wait and see if anyone has a redundant (to them) unit.

Hi Christian. :)

We are definitely interested thanks. Can I ask please, what model number is the new filter, ie, a 420422 (black base cap) which is a scale filter, or a 420620 (blue base cap), which is a bacterial filter?

Cheers,

Jock. :)

Hi Jock,

It is indeed the 420620 blue base cap filter, I’ve been and taken the following picture and happy to supply others if needed.

Cheers,
Christian
