N.ireland MH choices !!

Hi folks I'm over here in n.ireland and there is only a few MH dealers and the choices are slim ..so I might have to travel to GB to find what we're looking for .
I have been browsing BC motorhomes in Ayr and Dom Amott leisure in Derby and they have some nice stuff ...but it'll be a logistical pain in the 🕳...plane/boat /train /taxi ..then have the swingers to walk away if the MH is not as good as you thought
Has any one had any experience with the 2 above dealers or can they recommend any main land super stars when it comes to buying .

When collecting we flew into East Midlands and they collected us.
They had at that time, and still think they do, a plot about 2-3 minutes walk away with EHU that we stayed on overnight (2 off) to check things out before setting off for home.
No major issues with them.
Guy we dealt with has now retired.

Buy local if you can. Motorhomes have become to complex, and build quality in my experience of all models less than satisfactory. It will not be if but when you have warranty issues that need attention. Depending on the model of van you purchase you may/will struggle to get it attended to.

No bud I think brexit has messed the tax system up if u are bringing something into the UK from the South of Ireland...not sure though

Yes would agree. Motorhome prices everywhere have gone mad. Supply and demand. Motorhomes bought a 12/18 are nearly worth more today. Not a great time to buy unfortunately

I do like autotrail..but I'm being put of by the water/damp issues...probably wrongly though !
