Left my motorhome parked for a while, you know why, unfortunately I omitted to empty the Fresh water tank. Used it yesterday and found that the water pump had gone on lockdown.
1) checked the freshwater tank. no sign of algae or muck.
2) cleaned the pump all round, there was nothing to remove.
3) tried blowing back down the shower hose, difficult could not guarantee that the passages were free.

Not quite ready to replace the pump.
Any ideas why my pump would decide after 10 weeks of inactivity to only work 50%

How do you know its 50% efficient?

If run dry one of the motors often burns out so will still run but only one motor running.

I've just changed my submersible for a Shurflow, I have a brand new unused Reich 19Lt/min tandem pump that was my spare for £25 + postage. hasn't got the non-return valve but they are easy to swap over.

Same problem. After a few weeks it might have seized for a few minutles partially burning out the motor.

Mine is being replaced under warranty

Just worked out why I would not be unable to blow through the pipes. NON RETURN valve in the line.

Thanks for the offer, I would like to make sure that it is compatible with my system and I might take you up on the offer..Is the NRV the blue bit on top of the pump?

Is it this pump, see pictures. Is your pump in the original packing, does it have the connectors as shown in the attached picture and last question, how much would P and P cost. sorry last but is payment by Paypal possible.

Unable to upload the files. Ignorance on my part. Perhaps you can upload a photo of the pump that you have for sale.

Good price for the pump. When I got my hymer655 a few months ago the water pressure was cracked and would drain out the pump was duff return valve gone .. new pump like the one above fitted and all was well ..a dam good price for one if you don't want it ill take it for a spare..

More for discussion than any other point. I have finally got the pump out and it a 1.4 bar pump. I can find a 1.1bar and a 2.1bar pump. all are 19lpm. what do you think, go up or down with the replacement-

It's a 1.4 bar.
Yes the non return valve is the blue they fit like Speedfit pipe you pull out the collar (normally grey) push the disc towards the fitting then they pull off.
The pump is new unused, no packaging as I tested it then put it in my spares box. They don't come with connectors and you can't fit them with the connect on. I have some pins for the connector I can crimp them on for you then you just need to take the old pins out of the connector housing and push the new ones in.
Post is around £3 to £4 depending on how sent.

Thanks for the offer. Can you send me aPaypal invoice, that is how I have usually paid for things on the net. Take the top price for the postage. bottom line being £29.00. If the postage turns out to be more then let me know.
Kind regards,

Steve
