I have F/timer ins ... last year was my first full year with such... and was four times more expensive than my first two years of “normal” insurance..

At the time I had no option and paid the 1k+ premium (with a10k mileage allowance + breakdown, A class screen etc..)

I have a renewal notice amounting to £1 under 1k for the coming 12 months

I usually expect a “fight” at renewal time in order to secure a competitive rate...

However, i’m a tad bewildered as what to do this time around - given the understanding that there is only one “underwriter” and maybe two brokers offering this policy; and being offered the same cover as last yr etc at £350+ less...

Any thoughts folks!?..
