The vet reckons at most he is a year old and his breed (Mastin Espanol x) take 2 to 3 years to reach maturity!
I am hoping that just means to put on weight and "fill out" not to grow any taller!

A few more pics to give an idea of the relative sizes of my three.
Lass is a smallish red merle border collie.
Querida is the brindle 40kg Mastin X I took on when she was 3 weeks of age and is now 2years, 8months.
And then there is the white giant Guapo, believed to be 1year old.

Hmm! Looking at those pictures, when Querida was just about 6 weeks old I frequently used to say to her a line from a song "I luvs ya baby but your feet's too big." Now I was just comparing the size of Guapo's feet!

what an impressive beautiful gentle giant your boy is, looks like he might need to grow into those feet just a little bit more though..
as my old nan, bless her, used to say, won't get too many of them in a mini..

Our dog Barley had a nose which changed colour ... sometimes it was brown, or tan, or pink! I hasten to add this was NOT caused by her sticking it somewhere she shouldn't!

Puppies often have pink noses to start with, that then turn black, I thought that's what Guapo's nose was doing when I first met him but it shows no sign of changing further.
The only other black on him are a few skin spots on top of his muzzle. Maybe the artist responsible for his colouring had got bored with the vast expanse of white so just loaded the brush with black and began flicking it?

We got her when she was about 8 months and pregnant (good old RSPCA!), throughout her life her nose would change many times each year, no idea why, her pink with little brown freckles one was very pretty!
