What is the fan you used?
cheers

Does the microswitch switch it on when you open the toilet with the lever?

I used a 40mm computer fan, but you could fit upto a 60mm if you wanted to. The micro switch operates when you open the cassette flap.

Don’t drive with the cassette half full or more as the vent tube could fill with crap or other things from your Cassette I put the stopper on instead of the tube when travelling when I cannot empty

is that really a problem? there seems to be a lot of people with a SOG and its the first i have heard of that being an issue? I am looking to install a DIY SOG with bottom vent (sounds very 'tolietty' :imoutahere: ) sourcing all the parts myself and printing any bits i need on my 3d printer (anyone have any files to share?). No point doing it though if there really is an issue with the vent tube filling up?

Never had an issue with mine. Have driven with an almost full cassette and not found any nasty fluids in the vent tube.
