Evening, hoping to collect our first motorhome next week so was wondering what would be your recommended accessories to help get us off on the right foot?

As you already have some bits, you may be better waiting until you actually have the new van, try out the existing kit then look for specifics. Not everyone needs everything and I would guarantee most people on here have bits and bobs in their garage/house bought in a bout of newvanitis before realisation sets in so hold off on the buying unless you wish to fill your garage also!

Things to

Move water to fill your fresh water tank
Move grey water to emptying point
Electricity cable(s)
Bed linen
Towels to dry you and plates etc
Help to level MH
Windscreen and window insulation to protect you isummer and winter
Prepare, serve meals and eat with
Eat and drink
Chemicals to keep black water tank smelling sweet
Something to sit on outside if rain and snow stop

This is a start, just think about every activity, inside or out, day or night.

And on your trips compile 2 lists
What I don't have and need
What have I brought that is not essential

You can buy most things even in France, the shops will open eventually.

many many years! since I was a kid
don't try using lightweight caravan levelling ramps under a motorhome tyre, they are not suitable for the weight, but most other items are exactly the same as used in the caravan
