I have been monitoring my fuel usage and just wondered what other funsters get, if you take note of such things,
i get a reasonably steady 34 mpg at 60mph cruise on where possible, 2017 globecar fiat ducato 150 22,000 miles
what do others get for comparison?

No idea, I just put fuel in every time it needs it but the dash tells me I’m normally getting between 30-40mpg on a run.

i get nowhere near 34 more like 26.5 mpg cruise on at 69 mph on motorways, and thats 69mph real speed by sat nav not speedo.

are you doing 60mph? if you setting that by your speedo it is likely to be around 54 / 55mph.
set by gps, speedo reads 63-64 ish

Average 31mpg Hymer A Class (dynamic of a brick?) 3500kg fiat 2.3 130bhp... £35000 miles on clock 55mph ish on normal roads 60mph on motorways...

About the only good thing I can say when comparing my Fiat with the Mercs I had previously is that the fuel consumption is noticeably better, but then I'm also pulling much less weight around.
So long as you can afford the fuel, don't worry about consumption. There are too many variables involved to make a meaningful comparison possible.

We have an 7.4 m 4250kg A class and we tow a small car. We average 23.5mpg . Without the tow car we average 25mpg...

26.7mpg.

More downhill, less uphill, more with the wind, less against it :ROFLMAO: :roflmto:;);).

If I really cared I’d drive at 45mph,but I don’t,so I don’t.:giggler:

33mpg average over the last couple of years. Usually travelling at 60mph according to GPS when we can/motorway, vehicle is 2007 Fiat Ducato low profile so slightly less like a brick than some we've had!

Autotrail Delaware 7.9m, Fiat 150bhp 30mpg. Last campervan Peugeot Talbot Express 1993 2litre petrol 18mpg, lpg 23mpg. First motorhome Fifer M 5.41m Fiat 110bhp 40mpg.

Mercedes 3.0l Hymer slightly tapered breeze block shape

I once got 25mpg , but had to drive at sat nav speed of 50 and suffer all the lorries passing

now do sat nav 56mph pretty much same as U.K. lorries and get 20/22, would like more, but cost to change would take a long time to pay back 🤔👍 last year only spent £90 on fuel 🙁

Our Globecar 150BHP manual also returns 34mpg on long trips at 60-65mpg.

I never use cruise control or else it reduces my MPG figures to about 30.

We’ve had three since 2013 two 150 bhp and currently a 180bhp with auto and they have all averaged around 25mpg interestingly the last two average around the same towing a car trailer. That’s taken by brim to brim filling and mileage each fill.😊
the vans 1 Autotrail Tracker HB, 2 Hymer 698 Exsis I 3 Hymer B678DL 👍

100KPH on a flat motorway, so approx 62mph i'm getting 22.8mpg, fully laden, 5000kgs tag.

120 ltr full tank of water, 90 ltr diesel, 2 x 11kg gas cylinders, rooftop aircon, Armitage chassis bike rack, 2 x elec bikes, 4 chairs, 1 table, 1 x 390cm air awning, 1 x 5 mtr windbreak, 2 x solar panels, 2 x 100ah batteries, 1 x wife 140lbs, 20 x pairs of shoes, 1 x inverter, 1 x dc to dc charger, socket set, torque wrench, barbeque, hairdryer, iron, tons of clothes, more shoes, loads of gin, brandy, wine (lots) & beer, tonic, bacon, eggs, fruit n fibre, ham, cheese, eggs, bread, tinned stuff, salt & pepper, porridge.

Then theirs, loads more clothes and coats we never wear, shoes I didn't know she'd bought, swingball, windscreen covers, more shoes, Epson printer, macbook pro, 2 x ipads, 2 x iphones, pots, pans, plates, knives, forks, spoons, scissors, bigger spoons, hair dryer, towels, bedding, more shoes, umbrellas, loads and loads more of coats, woolie hats, more shoes, flipflops, sandals, don't do wellies, 20 million rock pegs and a lump hammer

If I empty it completely inc the 140lb wife it does 22.8mpg :ROFLMAO:

Auto-Trail apache 700, 150 fiat engine, 22 to 24 mpg. I don't worry about it as my power cruiser used 1 mile per gallon so 22 miles is a bliss!

Swift Bessacarr 584, 7.8m long around 25mpg, generally do up to 70 on motorways.

29 mpg on same engine globebus t7

I got 25mpg today towing a VW Up and I am well pleased. So far I have been getting nearer 23mpg but the engine has only done 3600 miles and I think it may be beginning to bed in. Again it is mostly curiosity, spending the children’s inheritance doesn’t worry me.

2020 Fiat Ducato 140bhp, manual, PVC, 3500kgs. Done less than 3000 miles, averaging about 29mpg on various roads, doing between 60mph and 70mph on motorways.

I simply don’t have a clue and to be honest not really bothered. It will burn whatever it burns to get me from where I am to where I want to pitch for the night

If I drive carefully and not like a boy wonde4 racer, 10mpg. Occasionally whilst accelerating, I’ve seen the gauge on the dash read 0.9mpg. :gum:
