If your vehicle's maximum authorised mass (MAM) is 3,500kg or less, you cannot tow a trailer that's longer than 7 metres. If your vehicle's MAM is more than 3,500kg then the maximum lengths are: 12 metres for the trailer towed by the vehicle. 18 metres for the vehicle and trailer combined.

Made for the job - living (mostly) full time, going from big site to site and possibly pulling another trailer. Can you blame them?

Seeing the Circus Tent to the left the the vehicle and trailer are clearly Showmans Vehicles, the operator must belong to the Showmans Guild. The living looks like a US 5th Wheeler on the 5th wheel of the Tractor Unit. These are exempt from the Goods Vehicle Con and Use Regs re lenghts and Operators Licences.and testing. They can draw upto 3 trailers, total copmbination not to exceed 25.9 meters. no trailer to exceed 7 meters . UK HGV Artics max lenght 16.5 meters, Drawbars such as the 11 Car Transporters max lenght 18.75. Dont think I will be volunteering to get behind the wheel of one with 3 trailers anytime soon!
