Delivered April 2021 😃. Still new, still learning. Only a couple of mishaps so far....
Hi all

New motorhome is now here and I am slowly working my way round the features.

I had an EP levelling system fitted by Mick at SAP Doncaster and not only am I really pleased with the job and support knowledge but would highly recommend them to anyone else.

I live in Devon - so not a flat pitch in sight - hence why I went for the system in the first place. It works like a dream and perfectly level inside 2 mins with the push of a button.

The issue is that once levelled I have to abseil out of the accommodation door to teach the ground safely and poor Mrs L has got shorter legs than me!

The answer has got to be automatic side steps
but looking to you knowledgeable lot for recommendations as to what is good and what is not so good - or will I be wasting my money and should have just a set of portable steps. I have got plenty of payload so that is not a consideration.

Many thanks

Mark

If your step is a Thule single step you may be able to replace it with the double version but not cheap.

No step at all at the moment so maybe a single would suffice.
Just had a look its got the drop down well in front of the door a single slide out step would probably be the answer. I think the cantilever one would be too close to the ground.
Bear in mind you will need some strong mounting points you can't just bolt it to the floor.

Thank you. Very helpful. Fully understand where you are coming from.

I 2nd the Thule step, mine has a switch to operate but clever people have it connected to door so as it opens the step slides out.
Very strong. It may be worth investing in some mud flaps too as the step may collect crap from the tyres if you don’t.
