I have collected our new motorhome today and I'm trying to make it as secure as reasonably practicable with wheel clamps and steering lock. Do I leave the window blinds open or closed, bearing in mind that nothing is in it yet.

Always shut mine but that's mainly to prevent uv degradiation in the sunnier months. Think about getting a clutch claw or similar and a seat lock for when you reverse the seats

I close them to prevent sun damage.
Before you start spending a fortune on security assume that if they want to get in the van they will.
Consider leaving very few valuables in the van just make sure that they cannot steal the whole van
