Autotrail 634U
Hi all...
Wondering if anyone can help solve a problem...
I bought a 2007 Autotrail Apache 634U about 3 weeks ago and was away over the weekend there with my wife.
When I pulled into get fuel I noticed that my reversing camera switched itself on and was picking up the video from another vehicle that must have been in my vicinity.
The pre-fitted camera is a Nuyee Camera and only comes on ( or so I thought ) when I select reverse then goes blank after I go back into neutral etc.
It happened 3 times over the weekend with different vehicles.....
Any ideas please

It's a wireless camera if you can change the channel on worth a try otherwise best to replace it with a wired one.

I thought of the possibility of it being wireless then I noticed the RED Power and Yellow Video leads connected to it

Has the monitor got wireless capability?
No, the camera has what looks like a little antenna so I can`t understand the need for a video feed wire. I will have to investigate more....I am wanting to change it for a twin camera setup with the clip on mirror and was wondering if I could use the same power and video leads that are there already.

You have wireless adapters fitted to the camera and monitor, they come in pairs, these are cheap so probably work on a limited bunch of channels so you happened to come across some one else with the same channels
Some of our trucks and large items of plant have them fitted, saves the hassle of running cables.
The adapter has a video and power input on the camera end and the monitor end has video receiver and power. Range about 8 to 10 m
The great thing about these is you can plug the receiver end into your TV if it’s in range,
