I was looking forward to collecting my, new to me, Bessacar next Tuesday but now told it will be a week late as they found a ‘leaky valve’ whilst servicing/MOT and as parts have to ordered in there will be this delay. Disappointed yes but also relived as it shows the dealer is being thorough which bodes well for the future.

We had a very good experience when we bought our first moho from Fullers in Gunthorpe a few years back , it was a used Apache 632 and the guy who did our handover was excellent, he even noticed that the outside BBQ gas fitting was missing and supplied one in seconds from their workshop stock.
We might have gone back but we bought a new model at a show and I don’t think they supply new anyway

It may (most likely) have been a valve on the engine... EGR valve etc.... Which would result in a fail.
In that case it wasn't the dealer being thorough at all but a neccesity for the MOT.
