Our fridge has stopped working and with the help of you great people it looks like the fault has been diagnosed as most likely a thermocouple.
The question is where between disneyland paris and Colmar would we find such a part?
Can anyone help?
Thank you

Have you looked on the domestic website. There is a list of places for help on there.

I've not put one on a fridge for a while so I'm not sure if it would fit, but you may get away with a universal thermocouple or possibly a super universal thermocouple. Do you know the length? May be able to get one delivered, eBay? Amazon?

Loads of motorhomes in France they must need spares too!. When our fridge went on the blink a dealer sorted it on the spot for free!!! (all it needed was disconnecting and connecting again to reset the electrics but I would be surprised if Lowdhams would have done the same for a French visiter)

What about calling in at a motorhome dealer? There are hundreds about and most likely one near where you are or are going. Most have workshops and should be able to sort you out.

Thanks all for your replies. We have found one which is on one of our route options in St Dizier. Not open until tomorrow afternoon....nearly through the perishable contents of the fridge!!

CLC is the name of the of the dealer.

That's good to know....we've not had much luck on this trip so far.
Did you call in? If so what were they like?

In the mean time could you find an aire or site with electric? It should still work on it..

No working fridge in August in France.
I have no idea how i would survive.
I suppose it would have to be red wine instead of rose or white
